§ Mr. WaldegraveNot all deaths of British citizens who die overseas, whether in suspicious or other circumstances, are reported to British consular officers. However, according to records held by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, 80 British citizens have been murdered, or are suspected to have been murdered, overseas between 1 January 1986 and 30 November 1988.
