§ Mrs. CurrieAll treatment necessary for dental fitness is available under the NHS general dental services. The scale of fees for general dental practitioners, which is reviewed annually in consultation with representatives of the dental profession, already includes payment for the treatment of the early signs of tooth decay using the techniques shown in the video. We will shortly be discussing with the profession whether any clarification of the description of this treatment in the scale is needed in the light of developments in clinical practice.
