§ Mrs. CurrieIn September 1987 we issued to all local authorities circular LAC(87)10, a copy of which is in the Library. This gave guidance on the limitations to an individual's right of access to personal information laid down in the social work order made under the Act. Guidance on the rights of children and parents under the Act is in preparation. Guidance generally on the operation of the Act has been issued by the Data Protection Registrar.
