§ Mrs. CurrieSix organisations offering support specifically to those dependent on tranquillisers have applied for central Government funding since 1984. Four of these have received grants. The two remaining applications are still under consideration.

§ Mrs. CurrieWe have already provided funding for several organisations on Merseyside experienced in the field of tranquilliser addiction including the following:
