§ Mr. Michael ForsythOn behalf of my right hon. and learned Friend, I regularly meet health board chairmen to discuss a range of matters. Local arrangements for the funding of community care of former long-stay, mentally ill and mentally handicapped patients are matters for health boards and local authorities to determine from within the considerable resources which we make available to them and which have been increased substantially since 1979.
