§ Mr. BerminghamTo ask the Lord President of the Council if he will seek assurances from ITN in view of the policy document "ITN Into the Nineties", that current practices regarding use of the outside broadcast unit in televising of proceedings will be maintained, with particular regard to the implications of new policy affecting transmission from the House of Commons; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. WakehamI will draw the hon. Member's concern to the attention of the Select Committee which is now considering the arrangements for the experiment in the televising of our proceedings. The manner in which this experiment is conducted will be a matter for decision by the House.
