To ask the Secretary of State for Defence when he next plans to hold one of his regular meetings with his French counterpart to discuss defence matters of common interest.

Mr. Younger

I last met M. Giraud at the WEU meeting on 18–19 April when a wide range of matters of mutual interest was discussed. I have no immediate plans for a further meeting.
