§ Mr. WaldegraveThe consultant has not yet been appointed. Invitations to tender for the contract will be sent out shortly.
§ Mr. Tony BanksTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if, pursuant to his reply of 20 April,Official Report, column 825, he will more closely identify the sites in Newham under consideration for housing development, giving (a) the acreage, (b) the current ownership pattern and (c) the time scale envisaged from consultancy to commencement for the building projects and (d) the likely financial package involved.
§ Mr. WaldegraveFurther information on the general areas to be covered by the studies will be published shortly. The consultant who is appointed to undertake the study will be asked to report on the sites within each area, including those matters raised by the hon. Member.
