To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what representations he has received about lorries and parts of lorries recovered from the Herald of Free Enterprise in connection with their roadworthiness; and if he will make a statement.

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he will take steps to ensure that vehicles recovered from the Herald of Free Enterprise conform with vehicle inspectorate construction and the regulations before being allowed on the road again.
