§ Mr. NewtonAll managers eligible for performance-related pay are subject to an annual performance review. The Department's circular PM(86)11 defines five levels of performance for this purpose and specifies the percentage additions that may be paid to managers rated in each of the higher bands. The detailed reasons for particular awards will reflect the different objectives set for individual managers and we have no plans to publish them.
