§ Mr. RentonThe first phase of this three-year advertising campaign is only now drawing to a close and it is too early to draw conclusions about its effectiveness. We shall be better able to do this when we have the results of the market research we have commissioned. However, we have already received 176,000 requests for the crime prevention handbook featured in the advertising and 450,000 copies are being issued in response. The handbook is being reprinted.
