§ Mr. FreemanBlood tests undertaken at periodic medical examinations have been revised to include cholesterol, triglyceride and thyroid stimulating hormone; on initial selection, at age 35, and five yearly thereafter. In addition, specific policy instructions for the interpretation of PME blood tests have been produced, and are about to be issued to all RAF medical officers, identifying levels at which further investigation is required.
