To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services what representations his Department has received from the Disablement Income Group with reference to the decision not to disregard savings of mobility allowance for the purchase of a car in evaluating capital and entitlement to income support; when they were received; what action has been taken; what reply he is sending; and if he will make a statement.
