§ Mr. TrippierI refer my hon. Friend to the answer given by my right hon. Friend to the hon. Member for Banbury (Mr. Baldry) on 7 March at columns75–76. The policy 487W outlined then is additional to action already in train: the provisions of the Local Government Act 1988 streamline the procedures for directing disposals; and since 7 March further disposal directions have been issued and statutory procedures initiated in respect of other pieces of land.
