§ Mrs. RoeThe number of improvement grants awarded is determined by local authorities in the light of their assessment of the stock condition in their area and the resources available to them through their housing investment programme allocation and the prescribed proportion of capital receipts. The eligible expense limits used for calculating individual grants are expected to be increased later this year.
