§ Mr. Michael Spicer[holding answer 25 March 1988]: British Nuclear Fuels plc has a long-standing agreement with the Nuclear Fuels Corporation of South Africa, which was renewed in 1985, to process uranium ore concentrate. All civil uranium imported into the United Kingdom for processing and subsequent re-export is under safeguards.
