To ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he proposes to add any further schemes to the road programme.

The last major review of our road programme, which we announced last April, added 82 new schemes to it. On 7 March, as part of the Government's inner cities initiative, we announced further schemes with an estimated construction cost of £109 million. We have now decided to add seven more schemes, expected to cost about £41 million, as follows:
