§ Mr. John PattenTraining is provided for magistrates court clerks in the law, practice and procedures of juvenile courts, and such training is kept under review. Following a recent consultancy study on the future provision for staff training in magistrates courts, a unit is to be set up in the Home Office to promote and co-ordiate systematic appraisal of training needs. This will include training needs of staff working in the juvenile court.
