To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will send a copy of the results of his Department's survey of tenants' attitudes towards estate sales to the Nottingham city council; and if he will make a statement.

The research, which has been commissioned in a number of local authorities, has been examining the factors which are important in a tenant's choice of landlord. The research is not yet complete, and no separate results from the small sample of Nottingham tenants who participated will be produced. When we have a report, we shall consider whether to publish it.
