(2) whether he will review precautions for dealing with fire explosion, collision or other accidents involving ammunition in transit by road; and if he will make a statement;
(3) whether he will review the regulations for the transport of projectile ammunition by road; and if he will make a statement;
(4) whether he will review the regulations for the transport of explosive ammunition by road; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Peter BottomleyLater this summer we expect to make the Road Traffic (Carriage of Explosives) Regulations, which will provide up-to-date and coordinated controls covering all aspects of the carriage of explosives by road including the transport of ammunition. They will deal with such matters as the marking of vehicles, training and instruction, and the procedures to follow in the event of an accident. They will reaffirm the368W existing prohibition on people under the influence of alcohol being in or in attendance on a vehicle carrying explosives.
