§ Mr. Chris PattenAs my hon. Friend the Economic Secretary told the House on 23 March, Her Majesty's Government welcome this report. It is a useful analysis of Africa's debt problem which we were among the first to highlight. We welcome the group's support for the debt initiative by my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer. We shall study the report and discuss it with our partners.
