§ Mr. SainsburyThe primary responsibility for redundancy in the royal dockyards rests with the contractors. However, my Department will have paid compensation to 668 ex-Civil Service employees (500 industrials, 168 non-industrials) who left Devonport dockyard in the period 1 March to 6 April this year.
