§ The Attorney-GeneralSince the closure of the Cardiff office of the social security commissioners on 4 August 1986 my noble and learned Friend the Lord Chancellor has received written representations on that subject from nine Members of Parliament, one peer and two members of the public, to which replies were sent explaining the reason for the closure and the steps taken to ensure that hearings continue to take place in Cardiff as necessary.
