§ Mr. AtkinsSheffield will benefit directly from the inner city measures announced by the Prime Minister and other Ministers on 7 March. In particular the new urban development corporation in the lower Don Valley will unlock the enormous potential of some 2,000 acres of blighted land to the north-east of the city centre. The UDC will have a budget of about £50 million over seven years.
