§ Mr. Alan ClarkI am aware of the concern being expressed by the United Kingdom clothing and knitwear industry at the prospects for the terms of the renewal of voluntary restraint arrangements with Turkish exporters on clothing products. These concerns will be taken fully into account by my Department when the European Community's position is being prepared in Brussels and officials will be consulting the industries concerned as the negotiations draw nearer.
