§ Mr. NewtonThe Standing Nursing and Midwifery Advisory Committee considered at its meeting on 5 April a draft report, prepared by a sub-group of its members, on issues arising in mental illness nursing in the light of developments in services for mentally ill people.
An amended report will be considered at the next meeting of the committee in July, when it is likely that members will also discuss the form and timing of any advice they wish to offer to Ministers, especially about wider consultation.
