§ Mrs. Dunwoodyasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether it is his intention to raise with the Indonesian authorities the question of the provision of arms and the protection of civil rights in East Timor.
§ Mr. EggarWe have no plans to do so. Defence equipment is supplied to Indonesia in accordance with our normal criteria. The Indonesian Government are well aware of our views on human rights in East Timor.
