§ Mr. Wrayasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will give a detailed response to the European Community report which found that drinking water in Britain is not up to the standards required.
§ Mr. MoynihanThe European Commission has queried some aspects of the implementation of the EC drinking water directive in the United Kingdom. The Government are examining the queries and will be replying to the Commission shortly.
