§ Mr. McNamaraasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland (1) when the Royal Ulster Constabulary code of conduct as approved by the Police Authority (Northern Ireland), will be published;
(2) whether he will place a copy of the Royal Ulster Constabulary code of conduct, as approved by the Police Authority (Northern Ireland), in the Library.
§ Mr. Tom KingThe Chief Constable has issued a document entitled "Professional Policy Ethics" to be incorporated in the RUC manual, which is an internal document for police use only. Any decision on publication is a matter for the Chief Constable.
