§ Mr. Peter BottomleyThe 1985 airports policy White Paper explained that if Prestwick airport's financial results had not shown steady improvements by 1989, the Government would review their present policy for air traffic distribution among the Scottish lowland airports. This remains the case; we shall naturally have regard to BAA plc's assessment of Prestwick's performance and future prospects in deciding whether to conduct a review.
