asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he is now in a position to reply to the letter from

Mr. Richard Horton of the West Midlands Welfare Rights Agency, sent to him on 27 July, regarding the draft Income Support (Transitional) Regulations 1987; and if he will make a statement.

I regret that we have no trace of this correspondence. However, I understand that a copy of the draft Income Support (Transitional) Regulations 1987 was sent to Mr. Horton in July. If the hon. Member would forward a copy of Mr. Horton's letter, I shall ensure that he is sent a reply.
