§ 68. Mr. Campbell-SavoursTo ask the Attorney-General what actions he intends to take in relation to the distribution of books in the United Kingdom against which he has successfully sought injunctions abroad.
§ The Attorney-GeneralThe organised distribution or sale or advertising of "Spycatcher", or of any book in respect of which there is an injunction in this country, is at risk of being a contempt of court. The Treasury Solicitor has received satisfactory undertakings from nearly all recipients of a letter sent on my instructions as a law enforcement officer giving warning of this. I shall continue to direct the sending of such letters. I am considering those cases where the response was unsatisfactory.
