§ Mr. William RossTo ask the Prime Minister whether there have been any (i) contacts or (ii) discussions between any of the security services and(a) the Provisional Irish Republican Army, (b) the Official Irish Republican Army; (c) the Ulster Volunteer Force, or (d) any other paramilitary or terrorist organisation in Northern Ireland since 1979.
§ The Prime MinisterIt has been the policy of successive Governments not to give information on any matters relating to the operations of the security and intelligence services.
