asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will publish an up-to-date list of attacks on shipping in the Gulf by (a) Iran and (b) Iraq, specifying in broad categories the kind of shipping attacked and, to the extent convenient, the dates of attacks.

Up-to-date lists are available from the General Council of British shipping, Lloyd's and other commercial organisations. To date there have been six attacks on British ships, all tankers, as follows:

(a) By Iran

23rd January 1987 MV Isomeria
21st September 1987 MV Gentle Breeze
(b) By Iraq
1st March 1984 MV Channing
10th July 1987 MV British Renown
