§ Mrs. CurrieWhilst I very much welcome the part played by voluntary bodies in raising funds, I do not believe it would be appropriate to pre-empt local decisions on priorities by health authorities by centrally pre-empting176W resources in this way. We encourage voluntary and fund-raising groups to discuss their proposed activities with local health authorities before commencement in order to clarify (in the case of equipment or buildings) donated issues such as ownership, insurance, maintenance, replacement and staffing.
