§ Mr. Wyn RobertsThe South Glamorgan Institute of Higher Education currently provides a four-year degree course in speech therapy. The institute attracts students from all parts of Wales and offers opportunities for training through the medium of English and Welsh. The Department is currently undertaking a review of the future requirements for and implications for the provision of speech therapists and other staff disciplines in the context of a manpower resource planning exercise for the NHS in Wales.
