§ Mr. WakehamThe Public Bill returns, issued annually at the end of each Session, contain lists of all Bills which received the Royal Assent and indicate which of them were Government Bills. To list the 1677 Government Bills included in these returns, since 1957, would involve disproportionate cost. Thirty-seven per cent, of the total number of public Bills introduced since 1957 were Government-sponsored Bills.
