§ Mr. Peter BottomleyOne weighbridge site has been provided on the M25 at junction 9 (Leatherhead interchange). It came into operation earlier this month and is being used for checking heavy lorries by the Department's traffic examiners, vehicle examiners, Surrey trading standards officers and the police. Surrey trading standards department have weighed 61 vehicles of which 14 were found to be overloaded, and some prosecutions will follow. All enforcement agencies will be making regular use of the weighbridge site.
