§ Sir Geoffrey FinsbergTo ask the Secretary of State for Social Services when his Department will have finalised the pension award to Mr. Miller, a constituent of the hon. Member for Hampstead and Highgate, under investigation since January.
§ Mr. ScottThe query concerning Mr. Miller's 1980–81 contributions has now been resolved and the local office has been instructed to pay arrears of additional pension. Further adjustment will be required on account of increments to the additional pension and this will be dealt with as soon as possible. A final statement of Mr. Miller's entitlement will be sent to him in the near future. I will write to my hon. Friend shortly.
