Mr. JacksonI understand that the Medical Research Council (MRC) has not commissioned any studies of the effect of ampligen. The Council is aware of a preliminary study in the United States of America on a small number of patients with AIDS and related conditions. The MRC is always willing to consider soundly based research proposals for support through its grants schemes in competition with other applications.
