§ Mr. NewtonOn 26 August 1987 all licence holders were advised that their product licences (parallel import) for Salazopyrin 500mg tablets imported from Italy ceased to ahve effect as a result of the suspension of the Italian marketing authorisation for the Italian product. We were later advised that the Italian health authorities had recalled unsold stocks and corresponding action was therefore taken by the United Kingdom licensing authority on 13 October.
