§ Mrs. RumboldIt is too early to say what the outcome of the pilot work on teacher appraisal will be. This pilot work is being undertaken in six local education authorities under the direction of the National Steering Group. The intended outcome of the pilot work is a tested set of documents and procedures which all education authorities would be able to adopt.
