Dr. ThomasTo ask the Secretary of State for Defence how many contracts and agreements for research his Department has made with(a) the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth, (b) the University College of North Wales, Bangor, (c) University College, Cardiff, (d) the University of Wales College of Medicine, (e) the University of Wales Institute of Science and Technology, (f) St. David's University College, Lampeter, (g) University College. Swansea and (h) the Polytechnic of Wales, and in each case which subjects the agreements involve.
§ Mr. SainsburyCurrently some 33 research agreements and four contracts on a wide range of subjects are placed with Welsh universities and colleges by the Ministry of Defence. It is for the institutions concerned to confirm their individual involvement.
