To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster whether he has any plans to change the criteria for selection of members of the Monopolies and Mergers Commission.

§ Ms. Primarolo
To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster whether he has any plans to change the composition of the membership of the Monopolies and Mergers Commission.

§ Mr. Maude
No, but vacancies for new members arise regularly and are filled by reference primarily to the particular expertise and experience which the commission currently requires.
