§ Mr. GristMy hon. Friend will know that it was my right hon. Friend who launched the "Plant a Tree in '73" campaign which was the initiative of my hon. Friend, so he will know my right hon. Friend's support for tree planting. There are a range of measures we are taking in Wales; the valleys initiative, urban programme, forestry commission grant schemes, proposed farm woodland scheme and Coed Cymru—Save Welsh Wildwoods—all promote amenity or commercial tree planting and/or conservation of existing woodlands.
