§ The Attorney-GeneralRepresentations have been received from 24 individuals and organisations commenting on various aspects of the White Paper. In almost all cases they have concentrated on specific proposals and it would not, therefore, be appropriate to classify them as "in favour" or "against" the White Paper as a whole. The 337W centrepiece of the White Paper—the establishment of a legal aid board to assume responsibility for administration of the legal aid scheme—has been widely supported.
