§ Mr. SternTo ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement about the recent visit to United Kingdom by the Bulgarian Foreign Minister, Mr. Peter Mladenov.
§ Mr. MellorMr. Mladenov visited the United Kingdom on 16–17 September. We had useful discussions on bilateral matters and international questions. Mr. Mladenov signed two agreements, on bonded debt and on the avoidance of double taxation. We look forward to further progress in relations with Bulgaria to the benefit of both sides.
