§ Mr. ScottNo. The Secretary of State for Social Services is advised on the prescription of industrial diseases by an independent statutory body, the Industrial Injuries Advisory Council. The council has conducted an investigation into bronchitis and emphysema and its report is expected by the end of the year. We shall give careful consideration to any recommendations it may make.
