§ Mr. Tony BanksTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what information he has concerning the whereabouts of the portraits of the first chair of the London county council and the last chair of the Greater London council; and if he will arrange for the portraits to be displayed within the precincts of the House.
§ Mr. ChopeThe portraits are in secure storage within the care of the London residuary body. Any question of displaying them within the precincts of the House of Commons would be a matter for the authorities of the House in consultation with the London residuary body.
