§ Mr. SpearingTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what was the date of expiration of the terms of office of the chief executive and deputy chief executive of the London Docklands development corporation, respectively, the dates when he expects reappointments to he completed in each case and the expected dates when they will be in post.
§ Mr. Trippier[holding answer, 9 November 1987]: The chief executive's term of office expires formally on 1 January 1988. The deputy chief executive's departure date is to be in February next year.
I am advised that the dates on which successors will be appointed and take up post are not yet fixed.
